In the Baby Room our mission is to ensure that your child gets the very best start in nursery life.
We have achieved this by asking ourselves what would we want for our child. A warm, friendly environment, supporting and nurturing, educational and interactive. We offer all of this and much more. Our room is set out into four well equipped areas, able to cater for children from birth to 18 months.
We also have our own fitted kitchen to ensure hygiene standards are well maintained. The children have their own eating area and a large free play area which has the option of being split depending on the proportion of small babies and toddlers we have at any one time.
If you are going back to work and are considering placing your child within the Baby Room, we offer free ‘taster’ sessions, which enable your baby to settle in at his or her own pace and also for mum/dad/carer to get to know us and the environment their child will be cared for in. The taster sessions are a good way to see how well your child settles, bonds with the staff and how they are around other children.
We provide diary sheets every day which give you the essential information about your child’s day, ie what milk and food they have had, their sleep times and their nappy changes. The staff in the Baby Room can also support your babies progress through weaning, we work together with each parent to ensure there is continuity and communication
